STAMPA is the Irish National Stamp Show, held each October in Dublin.  Exhibits of Irish material can be seen.  Besides the dealers bringing in all sorts of Irish material, many small "vest-pocket" dealers bring their holdings. Like many other shows, there are exhibits of varied material, and a booth for An Post to sell their wares.

During the show, the are meeting of local clubs like the Irish Philatelic Circle, and international meetings of the Eire Philatelic Association (EPA) and the (FAI).

At night, there is an awards dinner, sometimes with a signing of the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists.

One of the very collectible items at the show are the STAMPA souvenirs. There are two categories: the public souvenirs, and the members souvenirs. Both are printed in small quantities

See you at the next STAMPA !
