Richard Kelly President’s Award

At the ÉPA Board meeting of October 23, 2023, a new ÉPA award was approved, the award will be given by the President at the AGM to a member (or members) of the ÉPA who has undertaken outstanding service to the association in the past 12 months.

Éire Philatelic Association Certificate

This certificate is given only at the annual Stamp Show in Dublin Ireland. It is given to the exhibitor with, in the judges opinion, is the best exhibit of irish material. A certificate may also be given for the second best exhibit of Irish material, third best etc.

David J. Brennan Award (formerly the Thomas Edwin Field Memorial Award)

For an Outstanding Contribution to Irish Philately.

William A. O’Connor Award (formerly the John J. Clark Award)

For an Outstanding Service to the Éire Philatelic Association.

The Brian Warren Award (formerly the Vincent A. Linnell Award)

For the Best Article in the Association’s Journal; The Revealer

The Joseph E. Foley Memorial Medal

For the Best Irish Multi-Frame Exhibit

The ÉPA is scheduled to have its 2026 Annual General Meeting in conjunction with the BALPEX. The show is scheduled for August 7-9, 2026, at the BWI Marriott Airport, 1743 West Nursery Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090. Our AGM will take place on Saturday, August 8th, at 11:00 am Eastern, both in person and via Zoom. You will receive a Zoom link several days before our AGM. In addition to a business meeting, there will be a presentation on Irish philately. Please join us in Baltimore! We are having an informal dinner on Friday evening at a local restaurant. Stop by our table for details. There is also an award banquet on Saturday evening. We hope to receive some awards from our 55 frames of Irish philately in the exhibit area. We look forward to seeing you.
